A Short StoryA single tear rolled down my cheek as my fingers shook as I closed the last box. My room looked like it had been scraped of it's character. Not one touch of color was decorating it's walls, no art work of mine nor of my sisters. The bunk beds had been removed, same with the wardrobe. Only of which remained in my room was the lonely mattress, and the city of boxes. I sat on my bed, knowing that tonight would be the last night I would ever sleep in this room.
"Melody!" I heard my brother yell. "What!?" I yelled back, my voice cracking since I was crying. "Come out here! Someone is at the door for you!" I looked at my closed door in surprise. I strode to my window and pushed the curtains back. "Oh my god..." I whispered to my empty room. I quickly ran a hair brush through my knotted, wavy hair. "Mel!'' my brother yelled again. "Grrr! I'm coming, I'm coming." I muttered as I fast walked past him to the door. Tears were still going down my face as I opened the door.

I was having fun with my mask I had made back awhile ago for Halloween... I wish I had red eyes though, it would fit the title better. Lol xD
